This market was once regarded as a quintessential public space, providing not only access to fresh produce but also functioning as an important social infrastructure, but lately, the market is barely surviving.

Vojni logor na Gračinama (The old Gracine military camp)
The old Gracine military camp, known as Bigeste, is located in the Humac area, 2 km southwest of Ljubuski.
The military camp dates from the 1st to 3rd centuries and was partially researched and restored between 1977 and 1988. Remains of a Roman military complex have been excavated at the site. During the excavation, numerous remains of ceramics, jugs, vases, coins, jewelry, rings, glass, tools and weapons were found. A small part of the exhibits is in the museum of the Franciscan monastery of St. Ante.
As the only partially explored military complex in Bosnia and Herzegovina, this archaeological site was declared a national monument in 2003. New archaeological research began in April 2017 in collaboration with the Faculty of Humanities.

Inside the Franciscan Monastery of St. Anthony of Padua on Humac the oldest museum in Bosnia and Herzegovina is located, founded in 1884. Although the Archaeological Museum on Humac has the legacy of the earliest institution of this type in the country, unfortunately, during its rich history, the Museum was closed several times due to war, economic and other problems.
The museum presents objects collected in the wider area of Herzegovina, chronologically belonging to the period from the Upper Paleolithic to the late Middle Ages, in a period of almost 16,000 years.
The largest collection of finds consists of objects from the nearby Roman military camp in Gračine, which was investigated in the period from 1977 to 1980. year. “Humac plate” (Humačka ploča) is the Museum’s most popular exhibit, it is dated from the period from 10th to 12th century, and represents the oldest written track of the Croatian language in today’s Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Working hours
The museum is open to visitors every day from 1 October to 31 March working hours from 10 to 17h, or from 1 April to 30 September with a slightly longer working time from 10 to 19h.
